After the second wave of the Flotilla was intercepted in international waters by the IDF, people across Italy gathered to call once again for an end to the genocide, for humanitarian aid to be allowed into Gaza, and for the release of Palestinian hostages tortured in Israeli prisons. On this occasion, protests also demanded the repatriation of the kidnapped activists. With particular attention and demonstrating an international perspective, the demonstration highlighted that the black activists of the Flotilla were suffering more severe torture than their white counterparts.
