On the second anniversary of the beginning of the genocide in Palestine, demonstrations took place throughout Italy. The largest was in Rome (pictured), which gathered almost a million people. The demonstration in the capital started from Piazzale Ostiense (where the famous Pyramid of Cestius is located) and ended at the Basilica of St. John Lateran, passing by the Colosseum.
